So back to where we started.

So we left windy Tarifa after an early morning along the beach and a tasty brunch and drove to our first stop-over of the day: The dunes of Punta Paloma.
Now that you are acclimatized to the burning heat of southern Spain and had your first tapas and drinks in Malaga, it is time to start the road trip and to travel to the south.
I finally got to travel back to my beloved Andalucía, although just for 8 nights- which is way too short. No matter how well you plan ahead and how many hours you will spend on the autovias del sur, there are just too many amazing things to discover. Heavy-heartedly we had to cross off our list cities like Granada (this was the toughest), Córdoba, Nerja, Jerez de la Frontera and so on; but it is midsummer and we wanted to spend some time at the beach after a disappointing “monsoon season” back home.
If you are one of the less fortunate people who has to work during summer in an overheated and sticky office, then a little break from your daily routine may just work wonders for you.
I am not the type to lecture other people, especially when sitting in a glass house. But the summer is approaching and along with all the usual fashion and grooming crimes, there is one serious topic that I feel very strongly about: protecting my skin.
