Last Monday got2b Switzerland hosted a blogger event in Zurich to launch two new hair products. A molding paste for the modern gentleman and a pink cloud of blow dry inspiration for the ladies. Since I am not planning on returning to the 80ies, I will focus on the molding paste.
Although I am very picky when it comes to my hair products and also my hair (this happens with age), I am nevertheless always open to test new things. Therefore I was quite curious to find out what Got2B had up their sleeve this time.
The evening started great at a super stylish location at the wine lobby of Razzia in Zurich (check my previous articles to read a review on the restaurant itself). Prosecco, wine and tasty finger food; this is how you win over a bunch of bloggers and vloggers even before the show.
Antonio Galati, the new stylist for Got2B, had the task to present the new molding paste and also style a model live in front of everybody to turn theory into action. The new paste aims at the trendy old school haircuts and by looking at the logo some parallels to a current TV show are inevitable.
I have been testing the product now for the last week and so far I am quite happy with it. To get the perfect hold you may want to put a tiny bit of paste into the wet hair before blow drying it into shape. This will add some extra “grip” to your hair before you do your final touch. The hold is internally ranked as a 4 (out of 6), which means that it doesn’t get hard as a rock and allows you to re-style it at any time during the day. And according to the professional it may be even used with your beard to shape it. Unluckily I have less facial hair than the lady cashier at my supermarket therefore I can’t comment on this fact.
If you want to test the new molding paste by yourself you need to be patient for another 2 weeks, the official market launch starts on the 18th of May. Plenty of time to get a proper haircut and a new tie.
Thanks @Nicole for the kind invitation!
