X-Mas idea 3: Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic

Because a picture says more than 1000 words…

You may call me nostalgic or just antiquated but there is something unique about an instant picture that a digital print will never be able to match. This may also be the reason why I am still loyal to the good old paperback instead of changing to the e-books.

I admit that paying roughly 1 $ for each picture is expensive, but this will also make you more selective about your subjects and it will save you from the mandatory selfies.

I was lucky enough to receive the Instax Mini 90 neo Classic last year for my birthday and it is right up the with the best gifts ever. At every party it is always the center of attention and believe me, people still love to wait for the picture to develop and hold the pictures in their hands.

As usual I won’t bother with any technical details. You can read them on the homepage or in somebody else’s blog with more understanding of the matter. I just like to cool retro design and that it has only a couple of simple settings. With those setting you can do some artsy two-in-one pictures, macros and so on.

This must be a big deal for Fujifilm because it doesn’t happen every day that you conquer a market which actually was defined by the name of its brand. Some guys over there must be banging their heads against a wall…
